Do Christmas different

Christmas is for classic black and white movies, munching chocolate on the sofa and a good glass of red wine. The only drawback? Being left with a dancing complex...we have the answer...

Dancing lessons - not top of our agenda in the cocktail soaked run up to Christmas, however the more we think about them and the party season's social demands, the more they make sense.

If you're looking for something a little unusual than the usual tired work-outs, take inspiration from London's Barbican - Europe's largest multi-arts and conference venue which is home from December 3rd - 20th December to Latin American dancing glasses with a difference.

From the fantasically named Miss High Leg Kick and Boogaloo Stu, world champion dancer Gillian Cook will teach the dance of the day workshops. The best bit? When the music stops, it’s strictly speed dancing and time to move on to your next partner. If only real-life break-ups were so easy...

Dress code: Dress to impress. Singles, couples, and absolute beginners are all welcome.
