Shangri-La Hotel, London
This year Shangri-La will reach an even higher highs, when it launches a new luxury hotel inside the spire of The Shard. The Shard can be regarded as one of the most important architectural feats in England. One of the tallest buildings in Europe, it stands out on London's skyline. The deluxe Hotel will have 202 rooms and will take 18 floors of Renzo Piano's building. The hotel will feature among the largest accomodation in London and the suites will have a stunning view.
Opening March 2013, the new Novotel Al Barsha, situated in the business and leisure districts of Dubai, will feature 4 restaurants, spa and swimming pool.
If you are golf-addicted, the Hotel is close to one of the most famous golf field in Dubai. It has a great quality/price ratio.
Opening January 2013, the French Hotel Chain that ensures high quality service brings you the Sofitel Abidjan, overlooking the Ebrie lagoon and the plateau, one of the most fascinating landscapes in Africa. A five-star hotel that won't disappoint, as the exotic touch of the interior design ensures a leisurely stay and an intimate feeling. The hotel has 41 suites.
With 210 rooms, this $375 million project, to be completed in August 2013, will feature a bar and restaurant, 5,000 square feet of retail space, a grand ballroom, a spa and indoor swimming pool. The interior will be designed by Yabu Pushelberg, while the architect is Christian de Portzamparc.
The first Latin American resort of the Waldorf Astoria, the Panama luxury Hotel will open in March 2013. With a structure of 130 hotel rooms nearby the La Cinta Costera park that will feature a 2,500-square-foot spa, outdoor pool, 1,200-square-foot fitness centre, four food-hubs, terrace and pool bar, we bet this is going to be one of the city's hot spots food and cocktails this year.
