Are you a keen foodie but need a little help in the kitchen? Want to see how it's done through beautiful, no-fuss photography? And having these photographic recipes feature someone in the kitchen? Well, if this has already caught your attention, then Gnam Box has got something in store for you.
If you have ever found yourself perusing the internet, searching for a slickly crafted site that combines the worlds food with the various art forms that are out there, then I believe that you will find yourself in safe hands with Gnam Box; A place where food is the focus and their kitchen gives you the warmest welcome. About themselves, they say that they are:
“Two designers/creative directors based in Milan with passion for food, photography, graphic design, music, video making and different forms of art...
Gnam Box wants to meet artists, inspiring people and new young talents using the power of social networks: everyone and everywhere. We love to discover places, taste new flavours, and tell all these stories.
Gnam is yummy... the first thing we wanna know about you is what's your favourite dish. In food we trust and our recipes speak about us!”
A bold statement, no? Well, I was lucky enough to experience their kitchen and work first hand when I was invited to work with them on a small recipe project called 'Good Morning Pancakes'. This can be found amongst other charmingly presented works on their site www.gnambox.com and, after having the chance to see Gnam Box in action, I am hooked. These guys aren't just cooking food for fun, no no, they want you to feel like you are part of it, that the recipes are made for you and that it is okay to declare your love for food and those that you share it with. And I, for one, am more than happy to join them in shouting it out loud and proud.
Need any more convincing? Well, we'll be bringing an exclusive interview with the brains behind the (Gnam) box, here on Swide, by our food editor Elisa della Barba, who leapt at the chance to get in to their kitchen... the problem was trying to get her to leave.
For now, head over to their website to whet your appetite.
In food I trust!
