The count down has started: the idea comes from France, but it has landed in Italy, too. Are you ready to partecipate in the food extravaganza and to taste real Italian food cooked by the best chefs?

Milan is making foodies happy these days: after Taste of Milano, Le Grand Fooding is in town: a three-nights event in which 4 chefs (2 Italian and 2 foreign) will cook creations, inspired by a challenging question: is Italian cuisine better in Italy or abroad?

After a fun aperitif, the night will start with the official dinner, with long tables set for the guests by the designer Paola Navone.

Here is all the information you need to know about it.

How much: 50 euros. Should the tickets be sold out, with 15 euros you can buy tickets for the foodie afterparty, "Le Grand Tabù", which includes the “grembiule sanguinario" by Cazzamali, "the Haagen-Dazs gelato bomb " by Aliberti, the "Don Havanito" , cocktails prepared by Rich Boccato, mixologist of New York, or the "Havana Ice Club" by Davide Trovato and Gianmario Barlocco.

Something you need to know: part of the revenues will be devolved for charity  at CAF Onlus - Center of help to the abused children and to Families

Something you can't miss: the special pizzas at the aperitif, made by Charlie Hallowell (Pizzaiolo, San Francisco) and Jon Pollard (Pizza East, Londra). And like a real Italian, don't forget to grab your espresso after the dinner or the afterparty: it will be offered by Nespresso.
