My blueberry nights

They'll actually be nights you remember if you try swigging this bottle rather than your usual magnum.

A rich source of Vitamin C and K and Manganese, and "super-antioxidant power". A red wine appearance but in a beer style bottle. Whaaaaaaaat exactly is it????

Well, the Swedish company, Blue Concept has decided to put its new drink concept in our fridges taking our mind momentarily off Ikea. With no added sugar, free from artificial colours, and with freshly pressed fresh blueberries, according to their website (www.blueconcept.uk.com), one should also leave the juice to breathe for a few minutes before drinking - rather like wine. Goodness.

We haven't as yet spotted any sommelier's reviews, but all is not lost - as we've discovered, courtesy of another nice juice brand www.trueblueberry.com, that blueberries can actually improve one's eyesight, because they “have very high concentrations of anthocyanin”. Alchohol free and super-powers all in one swig. Tempting right now.

If you still not convinced - check out the nutrition map www.nutritiondata.com before you order this “perfect alternative to a glass wine” to your friends - providing they're not of course Italian or French who may just assume your being a bit cheap.
