What may look an easy fifteen minutes - actually takes hours, days, weeks & months behind the scenes to prepare.

Swide heads backstage on the morning of the D&G SS10 show to bring you a step-by-step visual account of a D&G fashion show.

Morning Tyson!

Breakfast time in fashion land. Coffee...or, erm, Fanta?!

Just like school, models arrive and are ticked off on the show's master model list.

A catwalk show has an army of helpers (with matching t-shirts) to ensure things run smoothly.

Designer Stefano Gabbana arrives to run press, and his team through the important parts of the collection.

Designer Domenico Dolce chats to waiting models about their runway looks.

The designers watch the show's rehearsal backstage.

Models check exactly what outfits they'll be wearing and in what order they'll be walking the runway.

Meanwhile, outside the press & buyers gather to take their seats.

Approx.15 minutes before the show, the models start to dress/undress.

An army of dressers ensures every last detail of a model's look is perfect.

Designer Domenico Dolce is on hand to make final adjustments to every model's look.

Ties are straightened...

Make-up artist Pat McGrath ensuring Stefano Gabbana looks his best for the designer's final catwalk bow.

And then it's all over.

The models remove their make-up before leaving the building.

Within ten minutes the entire SS10 collection is removed and transported to the D&G showrooms.

The designers congratulate their team to a round of applause.

The show's venue, The Metropol is empty - until of course next season.
