Some women age like a good wine and I don’t mean that you have to keep them in the cellar for a few years before you ‘open them up’, as you can see, the ex super model and eternal goddess Cindy Crawford still has it, as she graces the pages of Harper’s Bazaar.
It was always Cindy, of all the super models, that occupied my teenage mind, the combination of empowered woman, stunning good looks and hour glass figure was impossible to ignore. Indeed she was impossible to ignore during the nineties, her symmetrical features glowered from the cover of every glossy magazine of the decade. While the rest of the world was knee-deep in the grunge, Cindy was the sparkling face of glamour for a generation of girls…. and boys.
While quitting modelling in 2001 Cindy and the most famous mole in fashion came back in 2011 with an appearance on the cover Vogue Mexico. We can see, she has only improved with age. Pictured, more often these days, with her two incredibly good-looking children she is the most glamorous, multi-tasking mother you could ever see. Her children have won the genetic lottery, that girl has got some genes. It’s all in the genes.
As we’re in the midst of a 90s revival it’s only right that the queen of the 90s should let us know that she’s still here, still sexy and imposters will not be tolerated. She appeared in last month’s Harpers Bazaar wearing a Dolce&Gabbana SS13 fashion show raffia mesh suit and it did all the talking for her.
