The day before the official opening of the 69th Venice Film Festival, Vogue’s Editor in Chief Franca Sozzani along with Lapo Elkann and Livia Firth threw an intimate dinner to present the edition of L’UOMO Vogue dedicated to the festival. Hosted on board Elkann’s private yacht the M/S Dionea, the party was attended by a who’s who from the world of fashion and cinema.
Mrs. Firth, tsarina of eco fashion and wife to a certain Colin, provided the ‘Green Carpet Challenge’ for the event, which aimed to make the fashion sustainable. Mrs. Firth led the way herself in a hand-painted vintage Dolce&Gabbana dress. Keeping the whole occasion grounded by not wearing shoes, Mrs. Firth stole the show by looking dazzling while wearing a garment that supports the traditional artisan skills of Italy’s finest… by Dolce&Gabbana.
Also snapped was Italian actor Beppe Fiorello looking most distinguished in a Dolce&Gabbana three-piece and Italian actress and Mediterranean beauty Dorotea Mercuri in a Dolce&Gabbana black lace number.
