The Twilight Saga is coming to an end and three of the world's hottest heart throbs will be leaving each others' pockets and moving on to bigger things. So, what will they do? Well Lautner has only gone and got himself kidnapped in Abduction.
When I heard the words abduction and Taylor Lautner in the same sentence the first thing I thought was 'someone has finally gone and done it', but then I read on a little bit further and realised that I was actually reading about his new film. Lautner's switched his werewolf prowling ways for those of a child abductee in his new flick 'Abduction', in which he plays a young man who has to go on the run after he starts looking for answers when he finds a baby photograph of himself on a missing persons website. Intense stuff, no? 'Abduction' packs an impressive cast, which includes the likes of Sigourney Weaver and Alfred Molina, and is going to compete for a place in this Autumn's action/thriller stakes. We are also given a chance to get to know the rising star of Lily Collins, who plays as Taylor's love interest and is also known for her role in The Blind Side.
I'm sure that many of us have thought about kidnapping the young Hollywood hunk over the years, watching the teenager grow into a young man before our very eyes and now, that he is slowly breaking out of the mould of Jacob Black, his fan club is only going to continue to grow.
Taylor Lautner wearing Dolce&Gabbana
Whether it was the theme of the film or his ever growing popularity that made the young actor feel cautious on his recent jaunt to see the Miami Dolphins' football game, there was definitely some on hand help to guide Taylor amongst the adoring crowds of fans and football supporters. Of course, he was on top form, signing autographs, taking the opportunity to speak to fans and even took a moment for a photocall, but it almost looks like he has taken the hands of two women, with who he is exchanging what can only be described as a worried look.
On the set of Abduction
So, maybe the theme of the movie has left the star feeling slightly unsettled, which is hard to believe seeing as he had to train in boxing and wrestling for the fight and stunt scenes. When asked about if whether he had received any injuries during the filming, Taylor simply said that a few cuts and bruises had appeared on his body, but nothing serious.
So, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, for those who want to get their fix of Taylor Lautner or you need a bit of Hollywood action in your life between now and the final installment of the Twilight Saga (tissues at the ready), I suggest that you get yourself to a cinema near you as it hits the screens this week. Why not check out the trailer below? And if that isn't enough we have compiled a few shots for your viewing from the set.
