Sarah Jessica Parker in Cannes

Sarah Jessica Parker transformed the red carpet in to her personal runway at the Cannes Film Festival this week as she graced the Martinez Hotel with her presence.

The star wore this beautiful white laced Dolce&Gabbana maxi dress that caused a gasp of adoration when she arrived. Now, this lady is used to the flashing bulbs of a thousand cameras and she did not disappoint. Take note prospective red carpet wannabes as you got to make sure you got looks… the pout, the sultry siren, the glamourous gaze and, of course, the faithful over the shoulder glance to name but a few and SJP nailed it.

Teaming her maxi with layers upon layers of pearls she proved that she is still a fashion force to be reckoned with. Oh and that cinching white belt reminded me why my fridge is only full of salads, low fat yogurt and juices at this time of year. Summer is almost here and that waistline ain’t gonna stay slim on it’s own.

Looking effortless, she was there to introduce the preview of romantic comedy ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ in which she takes the leading role of Kate Reddy, a working mum with two kids. The film is based on the novel of the same name written by Allison Pearson and is released later this year. Right, time for red carpet practice...
