Coffee-Gala with Francesco Scianna

In Venice to present the movie “Vallanzasca-gli angeli del male” directed by Michele Placido. Get ready to be kidnapped by his charm.

Francesco Scianna Dressed in Dolce&Gabbana

We have decided our favourite of the Venice Film Festival. Favourite actor of course. After the enormous success he encountered for his role in “Baaria” by Giuseppe Tornatore, Francesco is – finally back. The movie counts the tale of the famous criminal band that terrorized Milan with burglary, kidnappings, omicide, convicting mobster Vallanzasca (Kim Rossi Stuart) to 4 life sentences for a total of 260 in prison. Francesco plays Turatello, Vallanzasca’s antagonist, but they are all in it for the crime: no good angels there. When my favourite coffee shop in Milan was taken over by Michele Placido and his crew last year – around this time – I was rather impressed with such a great production taking place in Milan. Although, now thinking back, I should have watched Francesco more closely. You never know which angel might come around right at your doorstep.
