Naomi Campbell isn't only famed for her supermodel stardom, she is also known for her dedicated work with numerous charities and this week caught her handing over a big fat cheque in London.

She works hard at getting celebrities to let go of their fashion show inhibitions and help her make money by modeling clothes that are on auction, and this is exactly what she did during the Cannes Film Festival this year. The celebrity fashion show in Cannes was dedicated to raising money for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan by having a Red Carpet themed catwalk auction. This isn't the first time that these star studded events have been used to help those in need and nor is she new to being charitable. Similar events were celebrated to help amass money for the victims of hurricane Katrina and she has also done work with Live Earth and Breast Cancer Care, to name but a few.
So, what of her efforts in Cannes? Not only did she prove that she has a big heart, she also arrived with a big fat cheque of £94,000 and presented it to a clearly ecstatic representive of Red Cross, Zach Abraham. The presentation, which took place in Dolce&Gabbana's flagship store in London, was attended by a flurry of paparazzi documenting the occasion and proving once again that Naomi Campbell is definitely a super'role'model.
