Inspired by the classic V7 Sport the 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 has all the classic styling of the iconic café racer with a the modern technology of today’s Italian engineering to give a bike that looks retro but feels very much of now.
With a single seat saddle, red frame, 18-inch silver-spoked wheels and racing exhaust configuration it’s bike that keep’s it’s identity of the 70’s, but with over 70% new engine components and single Y manifold and single 38mm Magneti Marelli throttle body it’s much more fuel efficient and easier on the environment.
Of course it wouldn’t be a V7 without the 4-Stroke 90° V-Twin, which gives plenty of power – 35.5 KW (48.8 Hp) At 6,800 Rpm. The fuel tank gets a make-over too and is lighter than before. All this is put together with the artisan skills you would expect from an Italian marquee of prestige and the fine details are lovingly executed in brushed, drilled aluminium.
For the gentleman rider who wants something retro and stylish but doesn’t want to compromise on performance and handling this re-imagining of the V7 Sport is for you. It has the racing pedigree of a unique lineage but is built with top brass specs and loving attention meaning it is so much easier to ride while you can still reap the awards of having a thoroughbred café racer and all the kudos that brings.
