Justin Bieber and Marg Helgenberger join the internet etiquette club and exchange words through the world’s social medias.
We have all been there and done it haven’t we? Written something on a social media site (facebook, twitter, myspace etc) that has been directed at someone else and used words that might offend the person? Yes, I thought so. Well isn’t strange, unless you view the celebrity world with rose tinted glasses, that sometimes celebrities also throw their punches online as well. There have been famed matches between the English music scene ladies Lily Allen and Cheryl Cole and of course Stateside too. Today I am talking about the tweets of Justin Bieber in relation to Marg Helgenberger. They met during the shooting for an episode of CSI and Marg didn’t quite enjoy Justin’s presence. Oh dear indeed.
Marg
Helgenberger wearing Dolce&Gabbana.
She called the pint-sized pop star a brat, which was quickly picked up by the Bieber machine and he tweeted saying “it’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.” Well said Justin, and when Marg was confronted about this at the 65th Annual Tony Awards she retracted the statement with a smile telling the interviewer that Bieber was a very talented young man. This is just one example of the power of internet etiquette and something that we can all learn from. Next time you have something to say, consider your audience, who it is you are talking about and what the consequences might be. Marg is obviously forgiven, not only because she apologized but also because she looked amazing at the awards. Job done.
