Clemente Russo's sterling silver in London

Dolce&Gabbana Milano Thunder's heavyweight won his second consecutive Olympic silver medal at the ExCel Arena in London on Saturday. Matching his world-beating success in Beijing, Italian Russo failed to go one better and bring home gold going down 14-11 to Ukraine's Oleksandr Usyk  in cagey and tense gold medal bout.

Russo swept through his qualifying fights and the quarter and semi finals with his usual swinging, unorthodox style of boxing and looked to have started the final in the right way when he came out of the first round 3-1 up. But southpaw Usyk  looked a different fighter in the second and put together some good combinations in the second. The final rounds were blow for blow but the big Ukraine had done enough in the second to clinch it.

Dolce&Gabbana are passionate about their boxing and Swide congratulates Clemente on what is an extraordinary achievement. Thank you for keeping us on the edge of our seats for the whole tournament and for your unique individualism in the ring which we never tire of watching. Congratulations also to Domenico Valentino of Milano Thunder who reached the quarter-finals in his division.
