When we hear the sums of money that this pop prince is pulling in, we generally don’t bat an eyelid, but when we found out that the Bieber is surprising his girlfriend with a dates that require an entire arena, we took note. So, what did he do? It was simply a dinner and movie date, something that the average guy can treat his lucky someone to. Oh, but then again, when the average man does this kind of date he doesn’t usually get given the keys to an arena or get special access to the cinema screen for a romantic viewing of date-hit ‘Titanic’. Yes, this is Justin Bieber we are talking about.

What makes this film-esque date even more impressive is that the keys to Staple’s Center were handed over to Justin without charge.  How does someone get a freebie like this? Staple’s Center classed this as a little ‘thank you’ for the 3 sell-out concerts that the singer bagged them. So, not something the average man can actually achieve quite that easily, and top that off with a few steaks served up by the luxury restaurant, the Lexus Club, and it can be said that a date like this should actually be called an event.

This wasn’t the only good thing that happened to Selena Gomez as she was also classed as half of one of the best-dressed couples around last week.

Justin Bieber on the other hand had an interesting week, which involved receiving the Horizon Award in recognition of his achievements at the 33^rd Annual Georgia Music Hall of Fame Awards, announcing that he is teaming up with Usher on his new Christmas album and being incarnated in cheese spread, naturally.

Yes, he received another award to mark his achievements and also took the time to get the girls screaming during an acoustic set, which was composed of 2 of his hits and a cover of Usher’s ‘U got it bad’. Usher, who Justin refers to as his big bro, was also present and got involved with the backstage fun, similar to what was seen on the shop floor of the Dolce&Gabbana Vogue’s Fashion Nights Out party in New York.

Together, they intend to make a run for the Christmas number one this year and, if we reflect on the success that they have achieved together and as solo artists, I think this is one project that will end on a high note. It has also been said that in celebration of Lil' Wayne's 29th birthday, Justin posted a tweet to wish the rapper well and also included a link for a cover of Lil' Wayne's hit 'How To Love'. Not only is Bieber an impressive boyf but he also likes to make people feel pretty special with the birthday gifts he selects.

And yes, then there is the matter of Justin Bieber’s cheese spread portrait. In celebration of British Cheese Week at the N1 Shopping Centre in Islington, London, a portrait of Bieber was made entirely using Primula’s famous cheese spreads. We have seen celebrities captured by all sorts of different media but it is very rare that a pop sensation’s good side is captured in dairy product form. Another milestone for Justin Bieber then!

So, in all, it is safe to say that it has been a good week in Bieber’s books and I am sure that weeks like these are more common for this pop juggernaut than not. The only negative thing that I can say about this week's Bieber news is that he has put a lot more expectation, and consequently more pressure, regarding the grandeur of dates that the average man can pull off. I'll have to rethink that cosy pizza night in... any suggestions? And no, not cheese painting.
