Francesco Scianna: Not your usual red carpet guest.

Anything can happen on a red carpet and, at the 6th International Film Festival in Rome, Francesco Scianna became a new face of this ethos when he took the red carpet for “L’Industriale”.

Yes, the Palermo born Italian Actor attended the “L’Industriale” premiere during The 6th International Rome Film Festival and, when making his way along the red carpet, gave us a show of celebration. Who knows what possessed him; maybe it was the spirit of Halloween, a win for his football team or the fact that “L’Industriale” was getting its premiere, either way he certainly had a skip in his step. Just take a look:

Told you, not your average red carpet attendee. Swide’s anonymous writer known as ‘The undercover bed hopper’ might be able to shed some light on the situation, for she (or he) references two points, which could be applied to Mr. Scianna. In the list featured in the article ’10 Things I love about Italian Men’, the undercover bed hopper writes, amongst other things:

3. They know how to entertain. Meaning they usually have some back-up talent to impress you with. They make you laugh.

followed by…

8. They look good in a suit, and won't embarrass you on your wedding day: they know the good tailors and actually care how it fits.

Both of which are perfectly applicable to this photograph of 29-year-old Francesco Scianna, but who knows. Scianna who stars in “L’Industriale”, a film based in Italy, which deals with the fallout of business, bankruptcy and the lives of those woven into these issues, certainly gave the crowd something to smile about and gave us a red carpet appearance to remember.

The 6th International Rome Film Festival runs until November 4th and more information about this event and its films can be found by clicking here.
