According to rumours, the onscreen love of Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield’s characters in The Amazing Spider-Man has in fact become real life. So what happens when fiction becomes reality?
Emma Stone had already got tongues wagging at Swide HQ earlier this year when she was photographed giving her co-star, Andrew Garfield, a look that is usually reserved for those in love, sparking rumours that the duo were lovers off-screen as well as on. Then this idea was duly quashed over time when a lack of sordid details or papped photos emerged on the internet. It's only recently that we've been able to toy with the idea of the comic strip coming to life again, when we saw the couple embraced at a photocall at Sony.

With the Spidey symbol raised above them, Stone and Garfield gave the press what the cameras were asking for and looked at ease with each other. Maybe this is due to the fact they have been working closely together in the run up to the release of the next Spider-Man or, as Swide stil suspect, is it due because Peter Parker has also got the girl in real life, too? Well, Grace Stacey, Emma's character, bags the hero in this year's adaptation of the successful franchise and, seeing as Emma Stone is looking better than ever, it wouldn't be surprising if Andrew has found it hard to resist her charms off the set.
Well, without an official confirmation we are just going to have to entertain ourselves with the thought that there is something going on here and just shut up and enjoy the trailer (again) until the films official release at the end of June/beginning of July.
