Swide Festival's backstage Campioni, by Senio Zapruder

Senio Zapruder isn't afraid to see the seedy side of things and he takes a voyeuristic approach to his depiction of the Campioni photo shoot.

From Siena, Zapruder lives and works in Milan as a freelance video artist. His work is cut out for fashion with a heavy influence by David La Chapelle. While giving an edgy feel to his work with Swide Festival he allows himself a freehand creatively to colour the experience with a full palette of visual effects.

True to the expressed aim of the Swide Festival project to allow artists free reign to express themselves through the medium, Zapruder come up trumps with a montage that is visually arresting and very individual. Swide Festival brings you 10 different artists and 10 very different ways of bringing you the backstage experience of the 'Campioni' photo shoot.

The soundtrack has a definite underground club feel, while the editing has more in common with live VJing sets than some of the other Swide Festival projects. The result is a unique look at the 'Campioni' photo shoot that would look right at home on any nightclub projection.
