Swide makes a step forward in the wish to scout and support emerging talents from the contemporary digital outfit. We welcome Swide Festival, our very own digital exhibition space for new talent.
We don’t like tooting own horn, but sometimes we have to. As well as drawing you into the world of Dolce&Gabbana, the products, the lifestyle, the hobbies, interests and tastes, we also like to keep an eye out for what’s new, what’s interesting, what’s going to be hot and sometimes slightly different.
With that in mind, Swide is now widening its reach with a new venture: Swide Festival. This project is meant to act like a digital exhibition space where emerging talents can display their work with the patronage and support of both Swide and Dolce&Gabbana.
For
our first edition, Swide Festival looks back at the Campioni Photographic
project. The Campioni book, released last June was Domenico Dolce’s debut as a
photographer. The book collates intimate portraits of emerging football stars
from the international sporting scene, introspective, strong and attractive,
these are the future icons of a generation.
Ten video makers were invited to the shoots and with their own unique skills they created ten different viewpoints on what was happening on the set. These videos make up the debut issue of Swide Festival.
The power of interpretation.
Swide Festival Official launches on Monday October 22nd.
The Campioni book is available to buy from Amazon.it
