Amy Adams lets her dress do the talking

Appearing on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show which was filmed at New York's Rockefeller Center, the Julie and Julia star chose to honour her Italian origins by donning a Dolce&Gabbana charmeuse dress from the FW13 collection.

In town to promote her film 'The Master' where she plays against Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix the stunning red head wowed the audience with her chic style.

Born in Italy to American parent Adams started her career as a singer in dinner theatres but quickly graduated to stage and on to glory to becoming one of the most sought-after actresses in the game. It's not the first time she's shared screen-time with Seymour Hoffman as she played alongside him in 'Doubt' (2008).

Recent roles in big productions such as 'The Muppets'(2011), and 'On the Road' (2012), have helped her consolidate her position as Hollywood's go-to actress for quirky, cute, female actors.

She's set to play one of the strongest ever women characters Ms. Lois Lane in the upcoming reboot of the Superman franchise called 'Man of Steel' which is already in post-production.
