They are from different parts of the world and their paths never cross, but these two celebrities have something very special in common. They are mums to be and proud of their baby bumps.

Alba wearing Dolce&Gabbana
Jessica Alba was snapped for the front cover of magazine Latina and it is true what they say, that a pregnant woman exudes more beauty than your average. She encouraged the readers of Latina magazine to flaunt the bump and not to hide it under a sea of layers.
'If you look in the mirror and you look really wide and frumpy, then you’re going to appear really wide and frumpy. The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better.'
A strong statement but one that would give any expecting beauty in the wolrd the empowerment to get their curves on display. And if you divert your attention across the world you will see that a certain Brit is also trying out the same idea.
Lily Allen, who featured on Swide yesterday, was spotted shopping with her husband and it would appear that she spent some time browsing the wears of Dolce&Gabbana and that can mean only one thing. Curve caressing cloche. But I wonder what she has chosen? The bag doesn’t seem to be busting at the seams so it must be a slinky number. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Let’s begin a new way of thinking about those baby bumps and follow the style advice, examples and encouragement from these two transatlantic ladies to feel sexy and be chic.
