Under the Sicilian drizzle

It had been a glorious weekend for Baaria but at last night's Golden Globes the sun stopped shining for Tornatore's film and the umbrella became the it-accessory. Strictly do not match to your dress and keep posing unconspicuously.

The star of the evening wasn't a film or a particular thespian... though some of them did shine for their sartorial statements.

Emily Blunt was the ultimate English rose (with a bit more of a tan) in a pink chiffon gown by Dolce & Gabbana.

Up in the air actress Vera Farmiga went for safe black but a daring fishtail skirt, another unique design by Dolce&Gabbana.

The men did also rise up to the occasion, and being the kind of man who makes his own rules Morgan Freeman matched his umbrella to the pin on his Dolce & Gabbana lapel.

Chace is a young but so very manly man who isn't afraid of the elements; sod the umbrella, and let's embrace the jumped-out-the-shower (oh and our minds are wandering again) meets Hollywood dandy look in a classic suit by Dolce & Gabbana.
