Rest assured, Rihanna hasn't joined the dark side, she just is a great actress on top of being the singing sensation we're both enamoured of and intimidated by. On a fairly entertaining night hosted by sweet little Blake Lively the highlight certainly was Rihanna's stunt alongside comedian turned ginger geek Adam Samberg/"Shy Ronnie"; of the many effects we'd imagined she had on men that particular one came as a little bit of a surprise...See for yourself:

Another interesting part of the evening was SNL's ode to infamous cheater du jour Tiger Woods which quite a few deemed insensitive what with its laughing at domestic violence and Rihanna as main musical guest... Some even deemed it sexist even though interestingly enough the gender roles were reversed as Blake went from preppy Serena to scorned spouse. It all does sound a little silly to us when we look at fierce, fearless, "balls of steel" Rihanna; give her some more credit, the woman's just demonstrated she had a brilliant sense of humour! And who else could pull off that wardrobe (we'd miserably fail but would still love a go)!

And now with whatever patience we can muster till the next edition hosted by none other than Taylor Lautner - we're crossing our fingers for a rendition of Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue commercial... or whatever might involve minimal swimming trunks.
