Since its inauguration in 1991 the Luigi Berlusconi Trophy has played host to a series of thrilling games involving some fantastic players. Tonight's meeting is also A.C. Milan's first game in front of their home fans this season.

 

The  tournament was set up by A.C. Milan President Silvio Berlusconi in memory of his father Luigi.

 

The first edition was contested between A.C. Milan and Juventus on August 23rd 1991. With the exception of 1992, 1993 and 1994, when A.C. Milan entertained Inter, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich respectively, the tie has always been between A.C. Milan vs Juventus, which has now become a traditional fixture in the pre-season calendar.

On this page, the Rossoneri players are seen sporting Dolce & Gabbana jeans and polo shirts.
