Mariah Carey has now left Rio.
Traffic we imagine is flowing again and her hotel of choice - The Copacabana Palace (obviously she's stays in a hotel with the words Palace in the title - this is Mimi) can now perhaps out the rose petals away.
After literally shutting down the city for her appearance at the city's Fashion Rocks event, Mariah is quoted as saying
"...But even before I had any type of fame I was like this. Seriously. They [the media] said I wouldn’t come into a hotel room unless there were petals on the floor. I’m like, do you really think at 3am I give a shit what I’m walking on?”
The question is ladies and gentlemen - do we believe her?
It's rumoured that for her perfomance (Carey was the event's grand finale) Mariah was scheduled to wear Calvin Klein collection but opted for a Dolce & Gabbana corset dress at the last minute. According to style.com - popstar Ciara is quoted as saying "When you have a five-octave range, you can do whatever you want."
