Scarlett Johansson is hoping to repeat her Tony Award success with Tennessee William’s Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
A Scarlett Cat
on a Hot Tin Roof
Scarlett Johansson may have momentarily moved away from the movie scene (after her role in Hitchcock) but she’s back on Broadway starring as Maggie in Tennessee William’s Cat on A Hot Tin Roof. The production counts many star names including Benjamin Walker, Andrew Jackson, Ciaran Hinds as Big Daddy and Debra Monk as Big Mama.

Scarlett definitely feels at home on the Broadway stage, and has already won critical acclaim and a Tony Award in 2010 in her rendition Catherine from Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge. In an interview on opening night on Thursday in New York she stated, “This is where I want to be. It’s a relief. I feel so free on stage.”
We wish Scarlett all the best for her tenure on Broadway but well, we look forward to seeing her back on the silver screen in block busters such as the second instalments of Captain America and The Avengers.
