Milla Jovovich always looks ready for action, even in a Vogue France shoot wearing a Dolce&Gabbana SS2013 runway look.
Recently we’re used to seeing Milla Jovovich decked in leather and brandishing handguns when she plays Alice in the very successful Resident Evil franchise movies, but in the Vogue France photo-shoot she merges her modelling and acting with poise.

Milla’s acting career started in the late Eighties just as her modelling career was taking off. Starring in movues and TV shows she got her first big break in the infamous role of Lilli Hargrave in Return to the Blue Lagoon in 1991. Being dubbed a Slavic Brooke Shields (the original star of the 1980 movie), Milla moved towards the sci fi genre in 1997 with The Fifth Element directed by Luc Besson and starring Brice Willis and Gary Oldman.
Milla was later cast as Alice in the Zombie themed franchise Resident Evil which originated from computer games. A geek pin up, Milla Jovovich seems to have been able to bridge the gap between geeks and fashion.
The actress will change genre in 2014 where she will star as Amalia Bezhetskaya, a manipulating and potentially dangerous femme fatale in The Winter Queen, the movie rendition of Boris Akunin’s best selling tale of terrorism and conspiracy.
