Dolce&Gabbana add to the The One fragrance family with a sexy new scent. It also makes a great Valentine’s Day gift, wink wink, nudge nudge…
Seduction is a subject very close to Dolce&Gabbana. The fashion seduces
its fans, and who wears it seduces others. The clothes are elegant, with a hint
of sexiness, without being overt and crass.
These defining adjectives are applicable to the new Dolce&Gabbana The One Desire scent. The oriental floral notes are opulent and feminine, with mandarin, lychee and bergamot contrasting the sweetness of Lily of the Valley. The Madonna lily, Indian tuberose and velvety jasmine are a lingering note of sensuality while the vanilla, caramel, sandalwood, musk and Cistus Labdanum create a mystery much like the heart of a woman.
The bottle in particular is a representation of the designers, with Stefano Gabbana’s elegant writing on the glass and the very baroque gold details, a nod to Sicily, Domenico Dolce’s birthplace.
Scarlett Johansson is once again the star of the advertisement campaign, shot by Terry Richardson. His unique style of photography makes her emerge as a true object of desire, without forgetting why she was chosen to represent the brand.
“Scarlett was a natural choice for us,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana see more to her than just aesthetics: “Not only for her beauty, which is well known, but for her ability to interpret the many sides of our woman.”
Dolce&Gabbana The One Desire is available in selected stores now.
