With the fully-fledged fifties revival of the Spring Summer and the Sixties elements in the Fall Winter season, black lined eyes are back with a vengeance. Dolce&Gabbana Make Up have now released their very own liquid eyeliner: Glam Liner.
Taking inspiration from the feline look so loved by Italian movie stars of eras gone by, and by today’s glamorous women, the Glam Liner Intense liquid eyeliner is born.
Doing
exactly what it says on the box, the Waterproof technology prevents movement or
smudging for a virtually immaculate lustrous finish, reminiscent of silken
thread.
Referencing
the Baroque inspiration of the Dolce&Gabbana Fall Winter 2013 collection,
the limited edition colours of Baroque Gold, Baroque Silver and Baroque Bronze
have a subtle iridescence, much like individual delicate gold-leaf papers, yet
with a density that means application is not only effortless, but efficient too.
The
permanent palette comprises Wild Green, Earthy Brown, Peacock blue and burgundy
toned Dahlia display a hint of gilt for a majestic twist, while Black Intense is
inky and touch perfect.
Pat Mc Grath, Makeup artist extraordinaire explains the best way to apply liquid eyeliner: for a perfect line, draw short strokes close to the lashes, starting off with a small amount of colour and repeating the process until you get the width you require. Thicken the line to add depth and texture for a more dramatic finish.
Dolce&Gabbana muse Scarlett Johansson is once again the protagonist of the advertisement campaign. Her enigmatic gaze and crystalline eyes framed with the Glam Liner intense liquid eyeliner.
The Glam Liner (€20) intense liquid eyeliner will be available in selected boutiques from November 2012.
