Dolce&Gabbana Make up has launched a beautiful holiday collection called Ruby. Put together with the expertise of make up artist virtuoso Pat McGrath, and keeping in mind the needs of stylish women everywhere, the Ruby collection is a thoughtful Christmas gift or a sure hit at any Christmas themed event.

The ruby symbolises the fiery character at the centre of the Sicilian heritage as well as that of designers Mr Dolce and Mr Gabbana. Mr Gabbana himself holds the ruby close to his heart- its his birthstone and he wears a ruby set ring, as an embodiment of passion and fire.

The smooth gold cases of special edition Dolce&Gabbana Make up Ruby collection are embellished with a glamorous red stone, like a modernist signet. The bejewelled compacts juxtaposed to the classic chic colours of the make up are representative of the duality existent in the Dolce&Gabbana DNA.

The special edition Ruby collection is made up of three times; an eye shadow quad, blush and five lipsticks.

The eye shadow quad (Femme Fatale €65) offers a collection of chic neutrals. Shimmering white to highlight, carbon black to create drama, while for shading and shaping taupe and brown. Use this to create the ultimate smoky eyes look which complements ruby red lips.
