The Dolce&Gabbana Classic Fragrances are being updated and accompanied by a new, and much sexier campaign fronted by Laetita Casta and Noah Mills and shot by the one and only Mario Testino.
Sicily is the country of oranges, the ground in blossom with an air, that in spring, is a unique smell. But what makes it so unique in this world and so necessary to visit, is the fact that from one end to the other, it can be described as a strange and divine museum of architecture.
(Guy de Maupassant – “Sicily, travel notes”, 1885)
The
Dolce&Gabbana classic perfumes, Pour Femme and Pour Homme
are born of the Mediterranean, epicentre of harmonies and contrasts which embody
so many values dear to Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Passion, family,
love, freedom and tradition are all encompassed in the fragrances. They are an
essence of Dolce&Gabbana’s DNA.
The
new sinuous fragrance Pour Femme is dictated by the sensuality of
neroli, the playfulness of mandarin, the velvety jasmine, and sweet orange
blossom.
These olfactory contrasts are harmoniously embodied by Laetita Casta, the new testimonial for the fragrance. Her Mediterranean sex appeal and explosive beauty, as well as motherly heart represent the Dolce&Gabbana woman in all its intricacy.
Domenico
Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have dedicated their classic fragrance for men to the
elegance and style of the Italian male. Originally released in 1994, Pour
Homme, is a strong olfactory statement with top notes of neroli, which are
gutsy and masculine, while the mandarin and bergamot are more sensual. The
Mediterranean breeze transports the sage and pepper and a strong base of tobacco
affirm the fragrance’s masculinity.
Noah Mills, Canadian model and up-and-coming actor, is the Dolce&Gabbana man thanks to his Mediterranean face and the sex appeal of a Latin lover.
The campaign is set in a idyllic Mediterranean setting composed by Mario Testino, where Laetita Casta and Noah Mills are drawn to each other in a blur between reality and fantasies of sensuality and romance.
