May is beauty Month. For the second year running Harrods is teaming up with Look Good… Feel Better.
Your Red Lipstick Day at Harrods
For any Londoner or London visitor, Harrods is the beauty destination. The diverse offer and the ranges of exclusive products do push Harrods on the top of the game. As we all know nothing is standard in this very unique department store. Following tradition, May 2010 is once again a month where beauty and skincare are highlighted and therefore Harrods has decided for the second year to partner with Look Good… Feel Better, the cancer support charity. We have all seen the damage caused by cancer treatments on a woman’s skin, hair and life. It is very difficult to find the strength to go on when you cannot recognize yourself in the mirror. Look Good … Feel Better and Harrods have come up with an initiative that prove to be very successful last year and are therefore reconducting it in 2010. If one can support this charity throughout the Month at Harrods and donate, there is one heyday, 27th May when the best of the best make-up artist talents from around the world will join forces to help raising money. By showing you how to perfect this season’s hottest lip trend and turning you from a faded beauty to a glamorous woman. Personal consultations will be available from top international and catwalk make-up artists including Pat McGrath’s protégé Emma Kotch for Dolce&Gabbana, Mary Greenwell for Chanel, Jamie Coombes for Dior or Claire Rae for Lancôme.
The perfect red lips can take you very far so before you head out of the Harrods Store; do not forget to leave your print on the KISS & MAKE-UP WALL. It is new this year, for £2, you will receive a mini “lip-over” plus an invitation to imprint your kiss on a Harrods “kiss Card” with a message of your choice. The KISS & MAKE-UP WALL runs from May 15th to May 27th.
