The Duo just announced the launch of their new fragrance in WWD and shared with Kerry Olsen their view of a modern gentleman.
Dolce&Gabbana is extending their fragrance portfolio by introducing a new scent, The One Gentleman, to be released this fall. Following their 20th Menswear Anniversary, Stefano and Domenico wanted to pay tribute to what makes a real 2010 gentleman: simplicity and elegance. “ We asked the noses to re-create the feeling of elegance, an emotion that didn’t exist in our male fragrance collection” are Stefano Gabbana’s words. No fuss, no complicated approach, being a gentleman today is about behaviour as much as lifestyle.
This year the designers have decided to summarise what makes a real Dolce&Gabbana man by referring to their first sources of inspirations. True to themselves, there are showing us an Italian story that has its patterns, its scent an soon its book. To celebrate their common passion that made things happen, a book will be published by the end of this year; it will feature all the aspects of this iconic fashion house. They are two designers that did not become “we” but became Dolce&Gabbana.
