Mood Swings isn’t letting Cannes go without giving the ceremony the perfect send off. Andrea Ratti has dusted of his soundtrack collection and wants to share some end credit moments with you.
This weekend the Cannes film festival draws to an end: much has been said,
mostly about red carpet outfits rather than movies to be honest, but that's
showbiz, kid (to quote a famous musical).
What better way to musically celebrate the ending of the festival than with some
great tracks from movies' final credits?
I can't help but start from the most famous OST song of all time, the song that left me bawling in the cinema well after the movie was finished and the lights turned back on. I think you've already guessed.
James Horner - End credits from Titanic
Second place goes to the amazing 'Slumdog Millionaire', that after a fairly depressing movie gives us an utterly fun Bollywood moment with a song that was then made famous by the Pussycat Dolls.
Sukhwinder Singh and Rahman - Jai Ho
Last but far from least, the final and very appropriate track from 'Fight Club', one of the most iconic movies of the past decade - actually the one before that, but I can't quite bring myself to cope with the fact that 1999 was more than 10 years ago.
Pixies - Where is My Mind
