As quickly as it came, summer’s nearly through. It’s time to enjoy these last days basking in the sun and sipping drinks at sunset, ‘cause September is round the corner and it’s a bummer like every year around. Those summer sunsets are coming earlier earlier, that breeze is getting a little too chilly at times and the beach is emptier and not quite as joyful as it was.
Leave it to melancholia masters Muse to give you that feeling of joyful times coming quickly to an end. This is off their debut album, Showbiz, which is now already 13 years old.
It’s time to wrap up those summer romances, make endless promises of keeping in touch (and really mean it!) while knowing not-so-deep down that you’ll lose that phone number and never hear from your fling ever again.
This year’s disco hit by the Flight Facilities is perfect for some beachfront drama (video included!).

There are those who love autumn: the colours, the fresh air, I don’t know. In my opinion it’s a constant reminder of death, in its most humid variety. Maybe it’s because I was born during the summer and I’m left with a childhood association of summer with happiness (and of autumn with school), maybe I just like sweating or something; either way, wake me up when September, October and November end.
