Lucy Liu in Dolce&Gabbana

The Hollywood star was there to lend her vocals to the song 'Close Your Eyes' by The Bullits, which also features the talents of Jay Electronica. When she walked onto the stage the crowds went wild, people had heard rumours that she might have made an appearance and those whispers were true. She walked on stage in sequins and stars and effortlessly wowed the crowds looking on.

The song comes from the new album by The Bullits and is a concept project that is narrated by a fiction character called Amelia Sparks. For 'Close Your Eyes' the narration is by Lucy Liu and takes the listener through the entirety of the LP 'They Die By Dawn & Other Short Stories'.

We have seen many a film star dabble with the world of music and vice-versa, but that isn't to say that this project that Lucy Liu is just another MP3 to clog up your playlists. The concept is 360degrees and gives the actress the chance to use her well trained vocals in a different way and, as seen last weekend at Ledbury's Big Chill, in new environments. Nothing beats the electric air that builds up at a weekend festival, I just wonder if she had her wellies...
