Steve Aoki is the visionary behind Dim Mak Records, who discovered and released artists from Bloc Party, The Kills, and The Gossip, and has remixed The Killers, Lenny Kravitz, and Timbaland. His first debut single "I'm In The House" is out now.
Steve Aoki is a man who's been generous with his sound. Signing new artists and mixing the established - he has worked on a string of remixes and collaborations with Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz and Santogold. The time has come however for him to sign in the spotlight as he releases his first single under his own name. Watch the single's video below.
We're not exactly sure when Steve sleeps in between discovering new acts, mixing, blogging (home.dimmak.com/blog/) and tweeting (twitter.com/steveaoki), but he definitely seems to have an active social life judging by his friend and partner in crime, photoblogger www.TheCobrasnake.com, who documents Aoki out and about (regularly).
