The unlikely sex symbol (he snogged Kate Moss in his 2003 video Brothers & Sisters) is back after a five-year absence with Dark Touches. Plus finds out why Eva Mendes opted for a cameo.
The first track of Har Mar’s a.k.a Sean Tillmann’s album, Dark Touches is 'Tall Boy', a song originally intended for Britney Spears and, with unchanged lyrics, takes on a new sexy life in the hands of Har Mar Superstar. Actresses Eva Mendes and Alia Shawkat (aka Maeby from Arrested Development), along with Tim And Eric co-star Eric Wareheim, appear in this intergalactic adventure. Take a moment for his spacesuit below.
Whoever knew actress Eva Mendes was such a big music fan? Talking to magazine Entertainment Weekly the actress revealed, “I’m a big music fan, but the connection is that I met Har Mar about 5 years ago through the Strokes.”
“He knew them, and they introduced me to him. To be an artist, it’s important to be utterly fearless. He’s not someone who’s conventionally attractive by society’s standards. But he is utterly fearless, and I‘m so attracted to that. He called me to be in the video, and I said, ‘Yes.’ I love the single. It sounds like old Prince. It just makes me want to dance.”
With an official release date of Oct.13th, Har Mar is currently touring North America, and we’ll be hitting the United Kingdom and Europe next.
