A collaboration between Barneys and Walt Disney gives life to cartoons that turn into top models: Daisy Duck wears Dolce&Gabbana on the runaway…

Long legs and piercing blue eyes, Daisy Duck poses sassy and poised in her Dolce&Gabbana dress.

Barneys New York will open the festive season with the “Electric Holiday” campaign, a special project that involves the strict collaboration with The Walt Disney Co. and which theme recalls Disney’s famous electrical parade as well as the traditional light installations that take over New York during Holiday season.
On November 14th the Barneys’ Madison Avenue flagship will feature a moving art short film in the window displays that will show Disney’s protagonists walking on the runaway dressed in top designer creations as though they were top models and fashion professionals turned into Disney characters.
If last year Barneys teamed up with Lady Gaga for Lady Gaga’s workshop (Lady Gaga’s interpretation of Santa Claus’ workshop) this year Barneys seems to have taken a whimsical turn that suits both companies’ personalities and will certainly be visually stunning. Now we have another reason to look forward to winter…
