Spiga 2: Introducing Co|Te

The Spiga 2 Dolce&Gabbana boutique is a launch platform for talented up and coming designers. For SS12, Dolce&Gabbana have selected an exciting collection of talented youngsters. Featured from the roster this week: Co|Te.

Co|Te is thoroughly Italian and founded by two Italian designers: Tomaso Anfossi and Francesco Ferrari. They both graduated from the Marangoni Institute in Milan a but only met once they left the university. Both worked for several important designers and their friendship grew and from that, their brand: Co|Te. The name means protection, a theme which runs through their collections and which is exacerbated by the quality of the Made in Italy.

The Co|Te brand is an advocate of the new asperity movement, cocooning the female body in chromatic overlays and highly researched fabrics.
