The Spiga 2 Dolce&Gabbana boutique is a launch platform for talented up and coming designers. For SS12, Dolce&Gabbana have selected an exciting collection of talented youngsters. Featured from the roster this week: Christina Crawford.

Christina Crawford was born in Brazil from a Brazilian mother and an English father. She decided to pursue a career in fashion and moved to Europe to study at the most respected institutions. She got her BA from Esmod in Paris and later went onto IED in Milan.

Christina got her big break when she was invited to show at New York Fashion week and since then her collections have gone from strength to strength. She was also selected by the ICE (Italian institute for international commerce) to represent made in Italy in the US. Items from her collections appeared on Bazaar and Marie Claire in the states to promote the initiative.
