Spiga 2: Introducing Lamberto Petri

The Spiga 2 Dolce&Gabbana boutique is a launch platform for talented up and coming designers. For SS12, Dolce&Gabbana have selected an exciting collection of talented youngsters. Featured from the roster this week: Lamberto Petri.

Lamberto Petri learned about the fashion industry by working in it. He first worked in London and later in the manufacturing sector for highly influential Italian labels. Following his experiences, Lamberto attended Central Saint Martins where he got an MA and went on to create his own label: La Maison du Couturier.

Eclectic in style and form, man made fabrics are used in conjunction with natural materials such as cashmere and silk. Japanese deconstruction is mixed with Italian traditional couture and tailoring, creating a unique collection made in Italy and which represents the new generation of Italian fashion.
