Marius Troy goes behind the scenes at the Campioni shoot for Swide Festival and creates a vintage feeling video where the relationship between photographer and subject is explored.
Marius Troy studied at the Oslo National Academy of The Arts in 2009, and then went on to work the most decorated design agency in Norway, Apt AS. While working as a digital Art Director for Apt he created the Ben Trovato Blog, which has now become his main project. The publication has since grown to be an international platform for fashion visualization, production and publishing for over 20 fashion productions monthly worldwide.
The video is shot to resemble a timeless piece, something from a lost era. The idea is to connect with the aura of Dolce&Gabbana, but also to differentiate it from all modern effects like motion graphics and smooth transitions. The hand made look is studied and looks to emulate the way Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce hand craft their art.
While the football players are the protagonists of my story, Marius focuses on the connection and relationship between the photographer and its subject, the meeting between the two worlds of fashion and football and how they blend in the setting.
