Roberto Bolle: Interview with greatest ballet dancer in the world

An étoile dancer, an inspiration, gives an exclusive interview under the guidelines of the famous Marcel Proust Questionnaire.

A quick Bio of Roberto Bolle:

Roberto Bolle studied at Teatro della Scala, Milan, and has been its étoile since the year 2004. He danced in all the most prestigious theatres and for the most important dance companies including: The American Ballet Theatre, L’Opéra de Paris, the Bol’šoj and the Mariinskij-Kirov, The Royal Ballet. On June 1st 2002, he danced during Queen Elisabeth’s golden jubilee at Buckingham Palace. The event was diffused worldwide by the BBC.  On April 1st 2004, he performed before Pope Giovanni Paolo II at Piazza San Pietro, Rome, during Youth Day.  On February of 2006, he performed during the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Turin.  After the acclaimed success of his debut at the Met, New York, in 2007, where he danced with Alessandra Ferri on her last performance, he joined the American Ballet Theatre as Principal in 2009.
Nominated “Young Global Leader” in 2009 by the Social Forum in Davos, Bolle is since 1999 Ambassador of good will for UNICEF, taking part in significant initiatives.
