Superheroes join the war effort

It's an interesting question - if the world did have Spiderman, Batman or even Darth Vader on our side, would wars be cut short and would we sleep safe in our beds once more? Photographer and illustrator Agan Harahap is asking that question in his latest project.

Born in 1980, photographer and illustrator Agan Harahap from Jakarta, Indonesia, currently works for the music magazine TRAX. His latest photography project entitled ‘Super Hero’ consists of memorable political and wartime scenes from the mid-20th century.

Seeing the images, it does make one long to find a piece of kryptonite, a light sabre or even a leotard if only to give wannabe superheroes a chance to show the world can be a safer place.
