We realize holiday packing tends to focus only on duty-free shopping lists but when you've done the vodka and with the trashy magazines, snuggle up with a DVD and a holiday romance.
Aside from getting a tan, holidays are the perfect opportunity to catch up on all those films, you intended to see but then work got in the way.

Madonna’s directorial debut, Filth & Wisdom launches this week on dvd and is one to pop in your suitcase.

The story revolves around three flatmates living in London - Ukrainian-born aspiring musician A.K. (Eugene Hutz), who's haunted by memories of an abusive father and turns tricks as a role-playing cross dresser.

Aspiring ballet dancer Holly (Holly Weston), who finances her dreams by stripping as she waits for her big break (yet curiously has a D&G wardrobe throughout...).

Finally, pharmacy assistant Juliette (Vicky McLure) steals medicine from her pharmaceutical job in hopes of quenching her dreams of helping Africa’s youth.
The film's music is by gypsy-punk beat combo Gogol Bordello, for whom lead actor Hutz is the frontman. Full of rock-star charisma, "he could be the only man in living memory besides Daniel Day-Lewis in Gangs of New York who can make a handlebar moustache sexy."
