Eyes Swide shot: Venice Biennale & Tadao Ando

Direct from the Venice Biennale, Swide brings you an exclusive series of behind the scenes images. First, is legendary architect (and former boxer) Tadao Ando.

Curious to know as what Tadao Ando is thinking (cynically we might say a Brat Pitt comission), the iconic Japanese architect is caught in mid-thought by photographer & art critic Sean O'Toole at the opening of Punta Della Dogana, which looks very Venice outside but contains more than a few surprises inside .

With special thanks to Sean O'Toole
