Proving there is life after the catwalk, former model herself photographer Elle Von Unwerth showcases unseen work in a new forthcoming exhibition entitled Fraulein.
Celebrated photographer Ellen von Unwerth is to have her latest showcase Fräulein this autumn at London's Michael Hoppen gallery. The exhibition will feature the photographer's personal favourite images from the last 15 years and some ‘never been seen before’ exclusives.

Unwerth's Fräulein exhibition takes place in collaboration with Taschen, who are publishing a major monograph of the photographer’s work. The text is written by Ingrid Sischy, the former editor in chief of Interview magazine and currently fashion critic at the New Yorker and a contributing editor for Vanity Fair.

Quoted as saying" (Women) are not just there to be admired, they are there to be enjoyed," her erotically charged images of models, film and music stars are as well known as the subjects of the photographs themselves.

The exhibition and monograph celebrate female icons in provocative poses: Claudia Schiffer, Penelope Cruz, Natalie Portman, Kate Moss, Vanessa Paradis, Britney Spears, Eva Mendes, Lindsay Lohan, Dita von Teese, Adriana Lima, Carla Bruni, Eva Green among many others.

Ellen von Unwerth: Fräulein is a limited-edition book published by Taschen, on sale from December.
The exhibition Ellen von Unwerth: Fräulein runs from October 12 to November 15 at Michael Hoppen Gallery, SW3
