Bed Peace 2009

It's Monday - and so only fitting we should be talking about bed. The original John & Yoko Amsterdam Bed-In happened forty years ago in March 1969. Swide gets out of bed to take a look at the tributes forty years on.

As 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the "Bed-Ins" that culminated in the recording of the anthem “Give Peace A Chance”, the site imaginepeace.com, dedicated to peace and run by Yoko Ono is asking its visitors to send images of the Bed-In tributes people are planning this year. Swide for one cannot wait to see the 2009 versions (call us shallow but how will the bed-linen look for a start? Egyptian cotton?)
